About

Words on the page, dogs at my feet.

I am an author and lifelong dog person, now opening my home to a few lucky pups in Alberta, Canada.

I'm Amanda, a writer living with a disability, and dogs have shown me just how much they can lift a person's day.

Living with a disability has shown me how much a dog can support my own mental wellbeing. Their steady company has made hard days lighter. That personal experience is the reason this daycare exists.

I share my home with two dogs of my own. They are friendly, social, and the best welcome committee a visiting pup could ask for.

I keep things small on purpose. With just two guest spots each day, I can give every dog the patience, play, and calm attention I would want for my own.

Services

Small groups, real attention.

Daycare and overnight care built around just two guest dogs at a time, so every pup is known, supervised, and comfortable.

A full day of play, walks, and socialization alongside my own two dogs, in a calm home setting.

With only two guest spots each day, every dog gets real attention, gentle introductions, and plenty of rest between adventures.

Overnight Stays

When you need to be away, your dog can stay the night in a cozy, familiar space.

Feeding notes, bedtime routines, and favourite blankets are all followed closely so your dog settles in and sleeps well.

Writing

A story of starting again.

Before the daycare, there was the writing. My book is an honest look at rebuilding life after a brain injury.
